I want to begin by asking a fundamental question:

Did you know that the frequency of love within the human heart may have the ability to influence the structure of water?

My fascination with water began around 1993, when I was guided to place a crystal in the water my children drank. At the time, I did not fully comprehend why.

About three years later, I witnessed something extraordinary.

My oldest daughter was six years old when I noticed her standing completely still in front of the refrigerator, holding an ice cube tray filled with water. I watched her quietly for several minutes. Fascinated, I finally asked, “What are you doing, sweetheart?”

She joyfully replied, “I’m putting my love into the water.”

I smiled and returned to folding the laundry.

The following day, when we went to get ice cubes for our drinks, we discovered that unusual frozen formations had risen out of the water as it froze. These formations took on geometric, crystal-like shapes. Some were short and wide, while others were tall and slender, reaching as high as three inches above the tray.

It soon became a joyful game between my daughters. My oldest daughter and her younger sister would each flow their intention and love into the water, and then wait to see who could grow the greatest number of frozen formations.

This was when I first came to believe that words and intentions can directly influence water and that water may hold memory.

Around 1998, I discovered the work of Masaru Emoto when I saw one of his books resting on the coffee table at a friend’s house. Emoto conducted and documented extensive experiments involving water, words, intention, music, and emotion.

When I look up his work today, I feel disappointed by the way it is often presented. Much of what I find appears focused on discrediting his research rather than exploring his observations with genuine curiosity and openness.

Whatever conclusion one reaches, I believe the questions Emoto raised are worthy of sincere exploration. What influence might our words, thoughts, emotions, and intentions have upon the water within and around us?
