The Creative Power Within: From Alienation to Oneness!

By Sophia-Taniah-Lorna-Lynne
“The One Who Flows With The River”

This article was inspired by a vulnerable comment I read on a friend’s Facebook post:

“I was always sad and I never fit in. Even though everyone was nice to me. Maybe I knew already back then what’s happening now. #IAM an #alien on #earth #please get me out of HERE Right #NOW”

There was a time in my life when those words could have come from my own heart. For many years, I carried that same ache — the feeling of being out of place, of not belonging in the world I saw around me. It was as though something in me remembered a deeper truth, while the outer world kept reflecting limitation, struggle, and identities that never felt fully mine. Over time, through inner awakening and the teachings of Neville Goddard, I came to understand that I was not merely reacting to life — I was participating in its creation through the assumptions, beliefs, and feelings I accepted within.

Part of that awakening was realizing that I am both the projector and the projected, and yet I had become so absorbed in the reflection that I kept trying to fix what I saw as wrong outside of me instead of going inward. Deep down, I knew I could not change the reflection by commanding it to look different from what stood before it, and yet that is what I had been doing. Have you ever stood before a mirror wearing a frown and told the reflection to smile, expecting it to obey? I can see now that I was the one sustaining the illusion of separation. In doing so, I was turning away from what my soul had already shown me directly. That realization has opened a new doorway for me. It has shown me that I can use the principles Neville shared to move into higher states of consciousness, remember the oneness of all life, and no longer feel foreign to the world I am experiencing.

I have also come to see that words matter deeply in the creative process. Words paint images in the mind’s eye, stir feeling, and shape the meanings impressed upon consciousness. So when I give the Infinite Energy of creation a limited identity through terms that suggest separation or external authority, such as “he” or “the Father” I may also be limiting my own relationship to that creative power. More and more, I am learning to think of Source as Infinite Intelligence, unlimited potential, and the living creative presence within, rather than as something outside of myself. For me, this has become an important part of moving beyond the illusion of separation and into a deeper, clearer alignment with the creative power within.

What we experience outwardly is the echo of former states of consciousness and what I believe about myself. In The Game of Life and How to Play It, Florence Scovel Shinn reminded me that what we experience is often the result of man’s own vain imaginings and the belief in two powers, “good” and “evil,” when in truth there is only one Source of life. It is up to me to know this one Source and express it. The conditions of life can seem solid and unquestionable, yet Neville reminds us that they are not the cause, but the effect. They are yesterday’s assumptions made visible. That realization opened a new doorway for me. It revealed that the answer was not to escape the world, but to awaken within it — to remember that the creative power of Source is not distant, but present within consciousness itself.

As Neville teaches so beautifully, the moment I step into the reality of the wish fulfilled, unseen forces begin to move it into form. I do not need permission from the world. I do not need to beg, struggle, or chase. I am being called to shift within and accept, without resistance, that what I desire is already mine. I am the one who must have faith and trust in the creative process, remain aligned with what I know to be true, and hold it as though it is already done.

The Neville Goddard videos I’ve shared below have been deeply supportive to me in that remembrance. I offer them here in the hope that they may also stir something true within you and invite you into a much greater vision of who you really are.

Beloved, there comes a moment in the journey of awakening when man must cease looking upon appearances as causes and begin to know them as shadows cast by the light of his own consciousness. This is the great turning, the inner crossing of Jordan, where one no longer mistakes the world for the power, but recognizes it as the echo.

For consciousness alone is the reality, the eternal substance from which all things are formed. And what you behold as circumstance is but the delayed reflection of what you have consented to be within yourself.

Therefore, if the world seems slow, if the evidence of the senses still whispers of absence, delay, or contradiction, do not be troubled. The movement is already underway. Not because outer things are rearranging themselves by force, but because the moment you assumed a new state, the whole vast mechanism of life was compelled to mirror it.

This is why I tell you with all the stillness of certainty: God is moving everything in your favor.

But God is not outside of you. God is your own wonderful human imagination — the very awareness by which you now hear these words, the silent knower within, the one who can feel, assume, and accept a thing as true. This is the operant power.

The movement in your favor began not when the world changed, but when you ceased identifying with the old man and entered the feeling of the wish fulfilled. The outer world, being only a mirror, has no choice but to conform.

Yet many stand at the threshold and wonder why the promise delays. They say they have imagined, they have believed, they have entered the scene, and still the old facts remain. But the secret is this: You cannot carry the old man into the new kingdom. No one enters the promised land while clinging to the grave clothes of yesterday.

The state you formerly occupied must be released — not fought, not repaired, not argued against, but abandoned. For states are like garments worn by consciousness, and what you call your life is only the visible shape of the garment you have accepted as self.

If you would know abundance, you must no longer secretly remember yourself as one who lacks. If you would know love, you must no longer rehearse the memory of abandonment. If you would know peace, you must cease returning in feeling to the chamber of fear. The old state has no life of its own. It survives only by your occupancy.

The past is not a power. It is only the residue of former assumptions. It appears real only so long as you continue to dwell in it psychologically.

This is the meaning of scripture when it tells you to put off the old man and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. It is not moral instruction. It is psychological revelation. The old man is the former concept of self — the familiar identity built from memory, repetition, and acceptance.

So if you have assumed a new state, if inwardly you have dared to feel yourself already blessed, already chosen, already the one you long to become, then do not descend again into the tomb of the former self simply because the world has not yet caught up.

Seeds do not bloom the moment they are planted. Yet the harvest is certain the instant the seed enters the ground. In the same way, assumption contains its own fulfillment. The moment it is accepted, it begins to harden into fact.

Do you see now why you must not give up? To give up is not merely to abandon desire. It is to re-enter the old state. It is to identify once more with the man who doubts, who waits, who measures truth by visible proof.

But the awakened one knows that proof follows being. Experience does not create consciousness. Consciousness creates experience. Therefore, remain faithful not to the evidence of the senses but to the unseen reality of your assumption.

When the world says nothing has changed, answer not with words but with inward stillness. For the one who truly knows does not argue with shadows. He simply remains in the state.

God is moving everything in your favor because your assumption has already selected the end, and creation, being finished, all pathways to that end already exist. You are not making anything happen. You are selecting what already is.

There is no need for struggle because struggle belongs to the old state. Reality is not conquered. It is reflected. You do not bend the mirror — you change the face before it. Change of state is the only change.

So when the mind tempts you to revisit the old identity, when memory invites you to become again the one who failed, the one who waited, the one who suffered, simply remember that man has no reality unless you wear him. Let him die. Let the former state dissolve by neglect. Withdraw your life from it.

Give your feeling only to the new conception of self. Feel what it would mean if it were already so — not tomorrow, not someday, but now. For now is the only creative moment. Eternity is contained in the present assumption. The kingdom of heaven is not a future event. It is a present state of consciousness.

The door is always now. And what you enter now becomes the world you later call fate.

This is why feeling is the secret. Feeling is the deep acceptance of reality. It is the inward conviction that a thing is so. When you feel yourself to be already the one, the world must eventually bear witness. It has no freedom in the matter, for the world is yourself pushed out.

So tonight, as the world grows quiet and the senses begin to soften, enter once more the state you have chosen. Not as effort, but as remembrance. Feel the naturalness of already being the one. Let the mind rest in the completed scene. Let the heart accept what the eyes cannot yet confirm.

This inward acceptance is the movement of God. And once accepted, do not take it back. Do not descend tomorrow into the language of the old self. Do not narrate the old struggle. Do not identify with the former limitation. Do not give life to what you have chosen to leave behind.

The old man dies by abandonment. The new man lives by occupancy. And because the world can only mirror occupancy, your persistence in the new state is the very power that compels manifestation.

When I say “Don’t give up,” I am not speaking of human endurance. I am speaking of remaining loyal to your chosen state. Do not give up your identity. Do not surrender the new conception of self merely because appearances are slow to testify. The delay is never denial. It is only the interval required for the invisible pattern to take sensory form.

The deeper truth is that it is already done. The moment you truly accepted it, it was done.

Beloved, all things are indeed moving in your favor. Because favor is not chance. Favor is the lawful outpicturing of a favored self-concept.

Become inwardly the one for whom life always arranges itself harmoniously, and life must reflect that arrangement. The world has no choice but to echo the song you are singing in secret.

So sing no more the hymn of the old man. Abide in the still majesty of fulfilled identity. Know that what you have accepted in imagination is truer than what the senses report. Know that creation is finished.

Remain faithful and the pattern must appear. Such is the law. Such is the promise. Such is the inevitable mercy of consciousness made visible.

Chapter 1: Introduction – The Power of Feeling

Take a deep breath. Let go of every thought that ties you to the world outside. There is something I must tell you — something that will change your life forever.

You have been searching, trying, and hoping. Yet the one thing that holds you back is your inability to truly feel. You want to see proof first, to touch it, to grasp it with your hands. But this is not how creation works.

The secret lies in your ability to assume, to believe, and most importantly, to feel that what you desire is already yours. Right now I ask you: What do you want? Is it love, success, wealth, or health? It does not matter, for all things are possible when you learn to feel.

The moment you allow yourself to step into the reality of your wish fulfilled, the unseen forces move to bring it into form. You do not need permission from the world. You do not need to beg, struggle, or chase. You only need to shift within — to accept without resistance that your desire is already yours.

Tonight, before you sleep, I ask you to do this: Enter that drowsy state, that quiet moment before dreams take over, and imagine yourself living the life you desire. But do not just see it — feel it. Feel the warmth of love if you seek companionship. Feel the joy of success if you desire achievement. Feel the ease of health if you long for healing. Hold on to that feeling until it becomes natural, until it feels like home.

Release it. Walk in faith. Do not search for signs. The world must follow what you have already accepted as true. You are the creator, the architect of your own destiny. When you feel something is real, it is already done.

There is a hidden force within you — one that has been overlooked, dismissed, and misunderstood. It is not found in effort, struggle, or force, yet it has the power to shape your reality. This force is feeling.

Chapter 2: Imagination Creates Reality

You have been taught to believe that hard work, persistence, and external actions are the primary tools for success. You have been told that if you want something, you must chase it relentlessly, work tirelessly, and fight against the odds.

But what if I told you that the secret is not in effort, but in knowing, in assuming, in feeling your desire is already fulfilled? This is the key that unlocks the unseen and brings it into form.

Right now, think of the one thing you truly desire. Perhaps it is financial abundance, a loving relationship, vibrant health, or success in a chosen field. Whatever it may be, notice how your mind instinctively calculates how it will come, how long it will take, or whether it is even possible. This is the conditioning of the physical world — a world that demands proof before belief.

But creation does not work this way. The truth is the reverse: Believe first, and the proof will follow.

Everything you have in your life right now is a reflection of past assumptions and dominant feelings. Much of it came naturally because at some level you felt it was yours. The house you live in, the people you interact with, the circumstances you find yourself in — all of it was once an invisible feeling, a silent assumption, a state you occupied within before it materialized without.

The mistake many make is trying to force a new reality while still feeling lack, doubt, or desperation. They visualize wealth while feeling poor. They affirm love while feeling lonely. They work hard but carry the underlying belief that success is difficult. This contradiction keeps them stuck, for it is not the thought alone that manifests, but the feeling behind it.

Feeling is the substance of creation. It is the energy that molds reality. You must learn to assume the feeling of already having what you desire. When you close your eyes and imagine yourself living in the fullness of your wish fulfilled, do not merely see it — feel it. Feel the peace of abundance, the security of success, the joy of love. Let it sink into your being until it feels natural, until it no longer feels like a dream but a memory.

This is not daydreaming. This is creation. The moment you accept a feeling as true, reality begins shifting to match it. You may not see changes immediately, but the unseen forces are already at work. Stay faithful to this new feeling. Walk in it, speak from it, and most importantly, rest in it.

Chapter 3: Feeling is the Secret to Manifestation

If you persist in the feeling of your desire fulfilled, the world must conform. It has no choice, for feeling is the secret. What you feel, you become.

Your imagination is the foundation of your reality. Everything you see, touch, and experience in the physical world first existed in the unseen realm of thought and feeling. Every great invention, every towering skyscraper, every work of art, and every success story began as an idea held in the mind. But it is the assumption that they are real — the feeling of their truth — that causes them to manifest.

Your dominant assumptions shape the course of your life. The relationships you have, the money in your account, the opportunities before you — all of it is a reflection of your inner world. If you wish to change what you see, you must first change what you imagine and feel to be real.

Feeling is the bridge between imagination and manifestation. It is not enough to merely think about what you want. You must feel it as if it were already yours. The subconscious mind responds to emotion, to the depth of conviction behind the thought.

Your imagination is limitless, and so are the possibilities before you. Nothing is too big, too difficult, or too far beyond reach. The only limits that exist are those you place on yourself through doubt and disbelief. The moment you release these limitations and dwell in the feeling of your desire fulfilled, the world begins to shift.

Chapter 4: Detach from the Physical World

The world you see around you is not as solid or fixed as it seems. It is merely a reflection of your past thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions. The physical world is not the cause of your experiences — it is the effect. The cause is within you.

To create something new, you must turn your attention inward and shift your inner state. You must feel differently first before the world can reflect it back to you. Detachment is essential. If you remain emotionally tied to what your senses show you, you will keep reinforcing the same reality.

Ignore the current circumstances if they do not align with your desires. They are nothing more than echoes of old beliefs. They are not permanent. They are not final.

Chapter 5: Dwell in the End – Stop Hoping, Start Assuming

You do not need to beg for what is already yours. You do not need to wish, to hope, or to look outside of yourself for signs. The moment you desire something, it already exists in an unseen reality. Your only task is to dwell in the end — to assume and feel that it is already yours.

Instead of seeing your desire as something separate from you that you must chase, imagine it as already fulfilled. How would you feel if you had it right now? How would you move, speak, and think if it were already done? Let that feeling consume you. Let it become your natural state.

The more you dwell in this feeling, the more real it becomes, until the world has no choice but to conform. Persist in the feeling of fulfillment regardless of what the outer world currently shows you.

Chapter 6: Live in the Wish Fulfilled Before Sleep

Every night as you close your eyes and drift into sleep, you stand at the doorway of creation. In this drowsy, relaxed state, your subconscious becomes highly impressionable. This is the most powerful moment to implant the feeling of your wish fulfilled.

Before sleep, let go of the outer world. Enter the state of the wish fulfilled. Feel the warmth of love, the joy of success, the security of abundance. Make the scene as real as possible, but more importantly, let it be natural. Attach deep, genuine feeling to it.

Persist in this feeling until sleep takes over. Drift off in the assumption that your desire is already fulfilled. By doing this, you impress your subconscious with the new reality, and it will work tirelessly to manifest it.

Chapter 7: Faith is Feeling – Trust the Unseen

Faith is not hoping, wishing, or waiting for proof. Faith is feeling — a deep inner knowing that what you have assumed is already yours.

Persist in the feeling of your wish fulfilled regardless of what the physical world shows you. Once you have assumed it as real within, leave it undisturbed. Trust that the unseen forces are working to bring it into form.

Chapter 8: Conclusion – Your Reality is in Your Hands

Everything you seek — love, success, abundance, or peace — begins within you. The outer world is nothing more than a reflection of your inner state.

When you learn to assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled, to trust in the unseen, and to persist in that inner knowing, you become the master of your reality. There is no need to struggle, chase, or doubt.

Simply feel it as real, and the world will rearrange itself to match your assumption.

You are the creator of your reality. Feel it. Believe it. And it must be so.
